In Silent Land we celebrated the first birthday of Reaksa, daughter of Seng Channeang. It’s an important day for Buddhists. Next important day is when people reach the age of 70.
February 19 film maker Jan van den Berg will complete his first 70 years. 2 weeks later we’ll ask the monks to bless the Cambodian premiere.
After the première in Amsterdam the film had already seven successful screenings in Dutch cinema’s: Utrecht, Wageningen, The Hague, Apeldoorn, Haarlem, Bussum and Breda. All within the Film and Food program. These screenings will continue in 2017.
