Susanna Berkouwer

Susanna Berkouwer a doctoral candidate in Agricultural and Resource Economics at the University of California – Berkeley. Susanna’s research revolves around the effects of climate change and environmental degradation on agriculture, poverty, and welfare in developing countries. She previously researched environmental regulation, air and water pollution, poverty, and healthcare in India as a research fellow at Harvard University, and worked as a teaching fellow in development economics and in environmental economics at Yale University, from where she also holds an M.A. She’s also an enthusistic researcher and advisor for Silent Land and When elephants dance, the grass gets beaten.
