The Silent Land project is the sequel to the successful Silent Snow documentaries, which shined a light on the use of dangerous pesticides and the consequences for our environment and health. The first (short) film in the Silent Land series ‘When elephants dance, the grass gets beaten’ by Dutch filmmaker Jan van den Berg, will have its premiere early 2014 and will subsequently make a tour around international film festivals.
